Orange Julius

This is a recipe that I got from Carl's mom who is an amazing cook.  This is a drink similar to the Orange Julius' you can get at the mall.  They are delish!

Orange Julius
1/2 can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
ice

Add the first 4 ingredients to blender.  Fill the rest of the blender to the top with ice.  Blend well until smooth and serve immediately.

This is a recipe that I love to make in the summertime.  I usually prepare it alongside a really non-healthy dinner such as chili cheese dogs and french fries.  The kids love it.

I sometimes will make a double batch of this since I always have 1/2 of a can of orange concentrate left over.  We will drink the first batch, and  I will freeze the Orange Julius from the second batch in plastic popsicle molds for orange popsicles later.  What a yummy, summertime treat!
